Have your say on sports and recreation
Young people and residents in Walsall are being asked what they think of the borough's open spaces, sports and recreatation facilities. The Council wants to know your views on leisure centres, parks, open areas, sports pitches and children's play areas. They want to know what you think of the local facilities and open spaces you use. They want to know of there are enough in your local area, if they offer high quality facilities, reasons why you use these or do not use them and what would you like to see in the future. This information will help to shape future plans and will be used to support decisions about improvements.

Hasta La Vista to the Textbook
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the California Governor, has a plan to save money in his state by phasing out textbooks to encourage the use of online e media for homework. What do you think? He says that by converting to online study more pupils would be kept up to date.
He also said that using Facebook, Twitter and downloading to portable devices are the way forward and that textbooks are not outdated.
